Good morning people who acknowledge the authority of God when you pray

Matthew 6:10 NIV Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Prayer starts with a worshipful focus on Who God is and it directs us to His spiritual reality, not our natural circumstances.

Then prayer steps into an acknowledgement of God’s authority and God’s power.

The word ‘kingdom’ here means: ‘royal authority to rule over in a realm’.

Prayer doesn’t focus us on our authority that originates from us. Against many enemies, in and of myself outside of God, I don’t have authority or power.

But God! Two words that have power in themselves!

As you pray today, focus on God’s power and God’s authority. That’s what makes the difference!
