Good morning people who walk with a faithful God regardless of outcomes

Psalm 9:10 NIV Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You.

Sometimes the outcome while walking with God can leave people with reasonable questions. The truth is, things don’t always work out how we thought they would. Sometimes good people do pass away prematurely. Sometimes loved ones don’t respond to God. Sometimes we die in faith without seeing the promise.

But none of these devastating situations deny the truth that God has and will never forsake us who love Him and seek Him.

When the early disciples laid down their lives as martyrs for the sake of the gospel, God did not forsake them.

When many followers of Jesus Christ still to this day lay down their lives even unto death, God has not forsaken them.

I am the first to say there are many things I don’t understand. But I also need to say that I can’t allow my lack of understanding to create my theology about Who God is. God cannot and must not be limited or reduced to my level of understanding. He is bigger than that and He is better than that.

I’ll leave you with this powerful verse today as we meditate on the unshakeable and unchangeable truth that God will never forsake us as we seek Him and love Him:

Hebrews 11:13 NIV All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.

Let’s make this our resolve today: We will still be in faith when we step into eternity, no matter what.
