Good morning people who stand and are amazed at what Father is doing
Psalm 23:5 NIV You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
As I continue to meditate on this verse, I am drawn to these two words: before me.
I feel God is saying that He is preparing good things before us; that is, in front of us.
Too often we miss the goodness of God because we are looking back in regret, hurt or disappointment, or we are looking around in fear, worry and anxiety.
Today, I believe Father wants us to decide to look forward and watch what Father is doing before us.
I think these verses are a key for some of us today:
Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
And then there’s Paul’s encouragement – a man who naturally speaking would have had many regrets:
Philippians 3:13b NIV But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead.
God’s table is before you.
