Good morning people who understand the Father heart of God

1 Corinthians 13:5 NIV It (LOVE) does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Forgiving someone and trusting someone are two different things.

When we chose not to keep a record of wrong against others, it in no way excuses what others do. Nor does it mean that we need to intentionally continue to put ourselves in a vulnerable place of perpetual hurt. Nor does it mean that we automatically have confidence in them to do the right thing.

Rather, I believe Father wants us to know that keeping no record of wrongs is about us placing people – all people, including friends and enemies – into Father’s hands.

Keeping no record of wrongs is about us trusting the faithful and true Judge to do what is right in His eyes.

Like I said yesterday, keeping no record of wrongs is about us walking in freedom – this is the reason Jesus set us free (Galatians 5:1).
