Good morning people who do what is right in the eyes of God

Micah 6:8 NIV He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

God requires us to act justly.

Acting justly is about doing what God would do.

In context, acting justly means: ‘doing what is right legally’.

As I meditate on this, I felt Father say that we are citizens of heaven. I knew what He was saying. He was highlighting that it is not primarily just doing what is right legally from a natural perspective, but from a spiritual perspective.

Jesus summed this up perfectly when someone asked Him how we should pray. Before I quote it, I want to remind us that we are to live how we should pray.

Matthew 6:9-10 NIV This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Acting justly is not about doing what people want you to do (sometimes people want you to do the wrong thing).

Acting justly is about doing what is legally right as a citizen of heaven.

This is what God requires of us.
