Good morning people whose Lord and Saviour declared “It is finished!”

Hebrews 10:14 NIV For by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

One of the dictionary definitions of the word ‘perfect’, which is also what this word means in this verse is, ‘complete’.

God has made us complete forever…now, fully, in Christ…we are complete now.

If we are ‘complete’ now, then we are ‘perfect’ now, because this is what it means.

Peter put it this way:

2 Peter 1:3 NIV His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.

We have been given what we need!

Jesus declared, “It is finished!”, therefore we are complete now – perfect now – in Him!
