Good morning people loved of God

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

This is powerful! The picture here of a strong tower is that of an Impregnable fortress. There is nothing in the enemy’s arsenal that is more powerful than the awesome Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. His Name is above every name – sickness, disease, fear, worry or doubt. The truth is the enemy cannot penetrate this fortress of faith and hope.

The reality is many times in my life, and maybe in yours, the enemy does get a foothold. At times it appears the attacks of the enemy are winning and that God is absent. The truth is God never leaves us or forsakes us; this is the truth. An equal truth is found in the following verse.

James 4:7 Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee.

We must live lives surrendered and submitted to the Lordship of Christ. Yes His Name is an impregnable fortress but we must keep our eyes fixed on Him; we must stay in Him. Our responsibility is to run to Him. When things are great, run to Him and fix our eyes on Him. When things are tough and there is pressure all around, run to Him and fix our eyes on Him. When we run to Him, we are safe and secure in the impregnable fortress which is Christ.
