Good morning people who believe that they are hearing from God

From the scripture we looked at yesterday (Palm 37:4), I believe we need to change the starting point when it comes to hearing God speak to us.

Many Christians start with a question, “Is this God?”

Many times in the Bible, the enemy is behind questions. He put a question to Adam & Eve, “Did God really say that?” He framed his statement to Jesus with a question in it, “If you are the Son of God…”

When we hear or feel anything that is not contrary to God’s Word, I believe the new starting place for those who love God’s Word and have their heart set to do God’s will should be, “This is God!”

This posture moves our starting point from doubt to faith, from uncertainty to confidence.

“But what if I get it wrong Steve?”

Let me bring clarity to that tomorrow.
