Good morning people who don’t throw away their confidence in our perfect God

Psalm 21:7 NIV For the king trusts in the LORD; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken.

“What do we put our confidence in the most?”

If our greatest confidence is in people, we will be disappointed at times. Even with the best of intentions, no person is always completely trustworthy.

But God is.

I’ll be the first to admit that it seems like God has not answered my prayers at times (or at least how I thought He would). I’m sure that’s the reality of your life too.

But I have come to the conclusion that this ‘apparent contradiction’ doesn’t change the nature of our perfect loving God. I’m a created being and I don’t know better than God.

And so I choose to trust Him completely. I’m not saying I don’t have times of saying “I believe, help my unbelief” – I do – but I trust Him. And I believe this pleases Him.

So today, I simply want to encourage us all to keep trusting God. He is our strong tower and our deliverer.
