#3154 – Passing Tests

Good morning people who respond to the leading of God and the tests of God

Psalm 17:3,5 NIV Though You (God) probe my heart, though You examine me at night and test me, You will find that I have planned no evil; my mouth has not transgressed… My steps have held to Your paths; my feet have not stumbled.

Not every test is from the enemy.

This is one of the most difficult but essential truths that we need to get a revelation of in the Christian life.

Yes the devil tempts us and tries to trip us up, but God tests us because He knows that passing the test takes us deeper with Him and builds spiritual muscle.

David faced tests from God, and he passed the tests (although not every one of them as we know).

Yet even despite his sins, he was known as a man after God’s own heart, and in this passage he says he has kept to the path of God. This gives us great hope today.

So I declare to you: If you have stumbled, fallen or even flat out sinned intentionally, today is a new day and you can be fully embraced by our loving heavenly Father.

“Will you accept His invitation to come close through the doorway of repentance?”
