Good morning people who honour God by loving people

John 15:17 NIV This is My (Jesus) command: Love each other.

Loving people is not a suggestion, but a command.

Loving people is the reason God sent His Son.

Loving people is the reason the Son gave His life.

Loving people is important to God.

1 John 4:20-21 NIV 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And He (God) has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

Sometimes this is difficult to do. But I’m sure glad that the Bible also tells us how we can love people, even when it’s difficult.

1 John 4:19 NIV We love because He (God) first loved us.

We have received an unimaginable quantity and quality of love from God. It’s from receiving that we can give. We don’t give from ourselves, but from the love of God that fills us to overflowing.

2017 is a year to love people deeply.
