Good morning people who position themselves for the life of Jesus to flow
John 15:2 NIV I (Jesus) am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener. He (The Father) cuts off every branch (Believers) in Me (Jesus) that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
God the Father is loving, kind, forgiving and gracious. He is also Holy, Righteous and Just.
There has long been a debate on whether Believers can lose their salvation. This topic is one I have tried to avoid, as honestly, I don’t like the thought of anyone not being in relationship with our heavenly Father.
Today I feel compelled to simply highlight what the Word says, and by doing so, point us to a loving Father Who deeply desires closer intimacy with all of us.
The Father expects the fruit of the Spirit to grow in the life of someone who is connected to His Son Jesus. The reason for this is, He knows that there is life and fruit flowing from His Son (notice the focus is on what’s in the Son, not what’s in us).
According to the clarity of this scripture, there comes a point when a continual lack of fruitfulness (which is an evidence of someone not remaining in Christ), results in the branch being removed.
We can have accepted Jesus and yet choose not to remain in Him. But the good news is, today is the day where Father, by His continual goodness, reaches out to all those who are near, and all those who are far off.
Today is your day to accept the ‘new beginning’ in God the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ. Today is the day to step towards God and to choose to remain in Him.
