Good morning people in whom God is continually doing good things

Our God is a Creator.

Genesis 1:1 NIV In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The word ‘create’ means ‘to bring into existence’. 

When there was nothing, God created something. Before something existed, God desired, God spoke and God moved to create.

This is true of God in Genesis 1, but it is also true of God today, even in our lives.

Once we were lost in sin, separated from God, eternally damned and devoid of revelation of Who God is.

But then God, in His infinite mercy, goodness and grace, revealed Himself to us. He reached down through time and space, and spoke a word of truth into our hearts.

The result was we were empowered to receive God’s love, and in that moment of humility and acceptance, God made us a new creation!

I pray that our creator God will continue to bring His will into existence in our lives this year – that through the power of the Holy Spirit, we may see and know that He is God and He is still doing wonderful and good things in us for the Father’s glory.
