#3084 – Together Matters

Good morning people who prioritise meeting together with other Christians

Jesus loves His Church. Yes, the Church is the people, but there are many scriptures that show Father’s desire is for Believers to gather together in worship, prayer, fellowship and the Word. Outreach also flows from these times.

Yet I am seeing a continual decline in the frequency of church attendance (by this, I mean corporate meetings). I see a casual approach to church, but truthfully, this casual approach often flows on to people’s personal relationship with God.

Permit me to make some of my readers uncomfortable: Gathering regularly with other Believers is essential and you need to be in church as a priority.

Here’s what the Bible says:

Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

“Will you make ‘going to church’ a priority in 2017?”
