Good morning people who sow seeds that Father can breathe upon

Mark 4:26-29 (NIV) 26 He (Jesus) also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

There is so much encouragement in these verses for all of us who live to see people encounter God.

Firstly, our role is to scatter seed. Oh, this is not insignificant!

We all want to see the fruit in people’s lives – salvation and transformation – but I declare to you today: The fruit is contained within the seed!

We must always keep in mind that it is God Who makes things grow (1 Corinthians 3:6).

We simply get the privilege of planting seeds of hope and life and love and goodness.
