Good morning people who lean in and listen to God speaking

Mark 4:2-3,9 (NIV) 2 He (Jesus) taught them many things by parables, and in His teaching said: 3  “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed…9 Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

When God speaks, we should listen.

This statement does not have clauses or exceptions. There are not times, seasons or circumstances that make this statement unnecessary or irrelevant.

Listening to our incredibly wise and loving God is always the correct posture of our heart.

Yet I fear that too often we are more focused on talking than on listening. This is not only in our natural relationships (although it definitely is too often), but it is also in our relationship with God.

I simply and clearly want to state today: Listening to God is the key to our lives.

“Do you have listening ears and a heart that desires to hear from God?”
