Good morning people who are for the people God is for

Father said to me, “Would you ever go against someone that I am for?”

I should have known there was something deeper in this question, because when I answered, “No, of course not”, God said, “Then why are you so often against yourself?”

This is what the Bible says:

Romans 8: (NIV) 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?…33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

If God is for me, I need to not be against myself.

If God doesn’t bring any charges against me, I need to not bring any charges against myself.

If God doesn’t condemn me, I need to not condemn myself.
