#3056 – Run to Win

Good morning people who do not enter a race to just finish it

1 Corinthians 9:24 (NIV) Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

No one enters a race with the desire to come last. In fact, no one enters a race without the desire to win.

“If this is how people enter natural races, how much more should we enter the spiritual race of eternal life with a desire to not just finish, but to run well; to run to win?”

This is not legalism, law or striving.

This is a posture of the heart. This is about living for the glory of God. This is about God, not about us.

“Are you running as well as you could be? Is Father pleased with your race?”
