Good morning people who learn to love and speak like Jesus did

Luke 2:10 (NIV) But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”

I love what this verse says and the heart of our Father behind it! The news the angel brought was good news, and the result of the message was great joy for all the people.

“Does the message of our lives – our words, actions and lifestyle – match that of the angel in this verse?”

Our message is to be good news that will cause great joy for all people – not bad news that will bring condemnation for all people.

Oh I’m reminded of this incredible truth:

John 3:17 (NIV) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

Jesus didn’t come to condemn – we shouldn’t go to condemn.

‘Not condemning’ is not the same as ‘watering down the truth’. Jesus spoke the truth in love and the result was changed lives. We are called to do the same.

May our lives be a message of good news that results in great joy for all people
