#269 – God’s Faithfulness

Good morning people with a faithful God

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

God is faithful. When we don’t see how we will make it through, God is faithful. When we are struggling deeply with a relationship, God is faithful. When we are under intense pressure at work, God is faithful. When we are under financial strain, God is faithful. When we don’t see light at the end of the tunnel, God is faithful. When things don’t make sense, God is faithful. When we fail, God is faithful. When everyone has abandoned us and we feel alone, God is faithful. When the doctor’s report is not good, God is faithful. When you wonder if the sun is going to come up tomorrow, God is faithful. When you think your race is over, God is faithful. When others say you are not good enough, God is faithful. God is faithful. God is faithful. God is faithful.

Oh how we need to hear this today. Life can be tough and full of challenges, yet God is faithful.

Where does our confidence lie? In our ability, our strength, our charisma, our relationships? The Bible tells us to put our confidence in the fact that the same God who began the work in us (He chose us remember), that same God, WILL carry it on to completion. Why? Because He is faithful. The Bible tells us to not put any confidence in our flesh but in Christ Jesus; He alone is faithful.

Today, let’s not throw away our confidence but let’s place our confidence in God’s faithfulness.

“Father, I pray in the precious Name of Jesus Christ, that every person reading right now will experience this Word as a rhema Word today. May this profound and life-changing truth lead us, guide us and empower us today. Yes we are weak, but He is strong. Yes we stumble and fall, but our God is faithful and He will complete the work He began in us. Thank You Father”

Practical Step: Today every time we face a challenge or a negative thought, let the first words out of our mouths be, God is faithful. Say it again. Declare it boldly and let God’s faithfulness become our focus.
