#261 – Clear Conscience

Good morning people who live to honour

Acts 24:15-16 I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.

This is so difficult to do yet it is vital that it is a focus of our lives. We do not live for the moment but we live in light of eternity. There will be a resurrection one day and with that comes the judgement. I in no ways want to scare people today; I simply want to remind us all that it’s not just about the here and now. There is life after death; there is an eternity and God will hold us to account for how we have lived.

So how do we live a life of honour? We need to keep short accounts with God and with people. Life is too short to live any other way than the way that God intended. Am I saying this is easy? No, I find life incredibly challenging like you do at times. As Paul said, “Not that I have already obtained all this” but also like Paul I want to live saying “But I am pressing forward towards that which Christ has laid hold of me”.

Today is a great day to live for God. Let’s give Him our all today as we keep our conscience clear before God and man.

“Father, please reveal if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. I ask this for Your Name’s sake”.
