Good morning people whose lives are about to be empowered

Many times in my life, I have been taken captive by my thoughts. The enemy has many times attacked my mind and this has resulted in depletion of my emotions. Sometimes fear of not being good enough or not making the right decisions has attacked my mind and I have been taken captive by my thoughts. At other times condemnation, guilt and shame have been the weapon of the enemy’s choice, and again, my thoughts have taken me captive. Maybe for you it is fear of the unknown, the upcoming doctor’s appointment, the direction of your children, the uncertainty of provision…and the list goes on. “Am I talking to anyone today?”

Then God spoke to me. Have a look at these empowering verses:

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NIV) The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

“Did you see it?” Please read this next bit slowly and let it sink in.

Our thoughts often take us captive…but God tells us to take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ!!!!!!! WE’VE BEEN DECEIVED!!! The enemy has convinced us we can’t be free in our minds (that our thoughts can take us captive), but the truth is, we CAN take captive every thought because we have God living in us and we have His divine power to demolish these strongholds in our minds!!!!!!
