#2051 – Don’t Settle

Good morning people who want to live in the fullness of God’s plan

Recently God clearly spoke this phrase to me: “Don’t settle for less than God’s best”.

Today I have an encouragement for us. Here it is:

In every area of life, let’s step back, and ask, “Is this God’s best?” If it’s not, don’t settle for it!

In our marriages let’s step back and ask Is this God’s best?” – If it’s not, don’t settle but believe for greater things and do all you can to see God’s best. With your children let’s step back and ask Is this God’s best?” – If it’s not, don’t settle but believe for greater things and do all you can to see God’s best. At your work let’s step back and ask Is this God’s best?” – If it’s not, don’t settle but believe for greater things and do all you can to see God’s best. In your health let’s step back and ask Is this God’s best?” – If it’s not, don’t settle but believe for greater things and do all you can to see God’s best. In your finances let’s step back and ask Is this God’s best?” – If it’s not, don’t settle but believe for greater things and do all you can to see God’s best. In your emotions let’s step back and ask Is this God’s best?” – If it’s not, don’t settle but believe for greater things and do all you can to see God’s best.

And here’s a great key: Let’s focus on giving, not getting. Let’s ask ourselves this question: “How can I add value to this person or to this environment?”

On our way to God’s best, many people settle at a place they should be passing through.

Psalm 23:4a (NKJV) Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.

We too easily accept the lie that it won’t get better than this. If it’s not God’s best, don’t settle for less – pass through and keep on believing.
