Good morning people who discover and walk in their greatest purpose

In December as I was sitting on the plane flying back from Singapore, I felt close to God and hungry to know Him so much more and to spend lots more time with Him. Increasingly, just being with God is my greatest desire. I have an increasing anticipation for my next opportunity to get aside and walk with Him.

I know that walking with God is God’s greatest desire for me. I know it will deepen our relationship on every level, including friendship. I know there are levels of intimacy with Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit that I have not yet imagined. I know that being in His presence and walking with Him will continue to transform my way of thinking.

As I listen to God and ask Him what is on His heart, I hear the following.

Friendship with God is the pinnacle of life. This is not a cliché, not just a nice concept or an impossible dream – this is an invitation from Father to every person He has created because He has created us for relationship.

This year, I encourage you to make friendship with God your greatest pursuit and passion. This is God’s greatest desire for you.
