#2014 – Complete Honesty

Good morning people who live with integrity in all that they do

2 Kings 12:15 (NIV) They did not require an accounting from those to whom they gave the money to pay the workers, because they acted with complete honesty.

What a powerful and refreshing little verse!

I wonder if this year we would all commit to living this way; people of complete and evident integrity.

In our families, let’s live in such a way that we are completely trust-worthy. Let’s follow through on what we say we will do; let our “yes” be “yes” and our “no” be “no”.

In our work, let’s also live as people of dependable integrity. Where others blur the lines, let’s live as Jesus did. Let’s honour people above the bottom line and the dollar sign. Let’s be people who invite the blessing of God on our place of employment because of our commitment to God and righteousness.

Together let’s commit to always speaking the truth, but let’s do so in love (Ephesians 4:15)

Let’s live differently from the world’s way of getting ahead. Let’s be people who accurately reflect our wonderful Saviour in every area of our life. Let’s be people of complete honesty.
