Good morning wonderful people!

Have you ever watched a movie that you had seen several years ago and loved but this time you were uncomfortable with some of the content? Have you ever said “I don’t remember it being like that?” I have and this happened to me last night. What’s happening here?

I believe the more you spend time with God the more you become like Jesus Christ (John 15). The more you become like Jesus the more you feel His heartbeat and get God’s perspective on things. I see this as a very positive thing! We should be changing more and more into His image! I think it’s more of a problem if over the years our standards never changed.

I am so thankful that God is patient with me. I’m also so thankful that God changes me when I abide in Him. I’m so glad the Holy Spirit speaks to my heart and says, “I don’t like that’. It’s a good thing to evaluate how we are going, how our standards are and to ask the all important question “Am I becoming more like Jesus Christ?” Here’s the measuring rod:
