#103 – Not Too Late

Good morning hope-filled people

Some of you know people who are so far away from the Lord, maybe you feel this way yourself. Some people question if a certain loved one has gone too far and will ever find God. I want to tell you they can; it’s not too late.

There’s a story about a king in Judah named Manasseh that shows us it’s not too late.

2 Chronicles 33:1-10 Here’s a few things it says about him. He did evil following detestable practices, erected altars to Baal, worshipped stars, sacrificed his sons in fire, practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, consulted mediums and spiritists, did more evil than the nations before the Lord destroyed the Israelites and paid no attention to the Lord when He spoke to him.

As a result God handed him over to the enemy who ‘put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.’ Maybe you know people that have lived life in rebellion to God also and you wonder what’s possible. Read on.

2 Chronicles 33:12-13 In his distress he sought the favour of the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. And when he prayed to him, the LORD was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD is God.

WOW! Our God is awesome and He is the God of restoration. He is the God who is moved when people humble themselves. He is moved by the prayers of faithful people. It’s not too late for you! It’s not too late for your friends and family! I pray that hope is restored today and that those you love will cry out to the Lord; He will hear and He will deliver.
