Good morning people who accurately recognise our Lord and Saviour. 

Mark 1:1 NIV The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.

For some, Jesus is just a prophet. For others, He is the Son of God, but not God the Son.

What do you believe about Jesus Christ?

Mark starts his gospel with the good news, which literally means gospel. And the good news is about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.

This Jesus was God made flesh. He is the eternal Word of God; the One who pre-existed time. He is the One who spoke and declared, “Let there be light”, and there was light. This is Jesus!

He is the Anointed of God; the Christ. The word Messiah means anointed, and Jesus was anointed by God the Father through the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10:38 NIV …God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

While it was Jesus who physically came to earth, the Father and the Holy Spirit have always been involved. Jesus came to point to and reconnect people with the Father, and all that Jesus did was through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The world needs to hear the truth of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.

May our lives be a living witness and testimony that accurately points to the Lord Jesus Christ.
