Good morning people who abide in a God Who works while we sleep

Psalm 3:5 NIV I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.

Some verses are just so beautiful, and this is one of them.

While we sleep, God watches over us.

While we sleep, God works on our behalf.

While we sleep, God sustains us.

The reason I woke up this morning is because God sustained me while I slept.

Psalm 139:18b puts it this way: …when I awake, I am still with You.

Sometimes we miss the depth of simplicity because of our pursuit for the next big WOW. Don’t miss this today. It’s simple yet it’s profound.

Acts 17:28a NIV For in Him we live and move and have our being…

We exist and continue to exist because God sustains us.
