Good morning people who believe that the battle belongs to the Lord
Psalm 3:7-8 NIV Arise, Lord! Deliver me, my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From the Lord comes deliverance. May Your blessing be on Your people.
Some battles are not ours to fight…well, at least not naturally.
I believe more victories would come if we fought spiritual battles and left the delivering from our enemies up to God.
I also believe that God’s deliverance from our enemies will often look different to what we think it will look like.
Sometimes the deliverance from our enemies is a removal of our enemies, but sometimes it is not.
Like David’s acknowledgement that ‘God is with me even through the darkest valley’ (Psalm 23:4), sometimes deliverance from our fears, worries, anxiety and the need to have everything perfect is the deliverance that God brings, even while our enemies remain.
But of this one thing I am sure: God is our Deliverer today!
I pray that you will know and recognise the deliverance of your God today as you fight the spiritual battle with the armour of God.
