Good morning people who honour God with their heart and their mouth

Jesus said

Matthew 15:8 (NIV) These people honour Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.

Our lips and our lives need to match.

Some things that come out of our mouths shouldn’t. Sometimes our thoughts shouldn’t translate into words. Remember, words are powerful.

“Are your words God honouring today?”

But sometimes our problem is that our words are ok, but our hearts and lives don’t match what we are saying or singing.

One of the greatest criticisms of the Church is hypocrisy; a disconnect between what we say and what we live. It’s time for our lips and our lives to match.

Our worship is true worship when our hearts are fixed on God and our mouths follow our heart.
