Good morning people who hear what God says and understand His heart

Matthew 15:10 (NIV) Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand.”

Listening to what God says is essential. Without a focus on listening, we will never hear many of the glorious things Father wants to speak to us.

There is a difference between hearing and listening (and all the parents and spouses said “Amen!”). This is also true with us and God. Many times we know the words He has said but we don’t always hear the intention of His heart.

And this is why Jesus instructs us to listen and understand. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to us. We must also intentionally take time to listen well.
