Good morning people who listen to the right things

Luke 8:17-18 (NIV) For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.”

There’s a warning here to keep in mind that everything will be brought into the light.

With God, there are no secrets. What is done behind closed doors is seen by God. God is at the places where you go and He sees.

And yet I find it interesting that Jesus says, “Therefore, consider carefully how you listen.” I would have said, “Therefore, consider carefully how you live; what you do.”

Jesus knew that it starts with what we listen to; who we listen to. Faith itself starts with hearing, so too does godly living.

“So what do you listen to? Who do you listen to?”

It’s time to listen to the Holy Spirit, to The Lord Jesus Christ and to the Father.
