Good morning people who keep on obeying what God says

Luke 8:19-21 (NIV) Now Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see Him, but they were not able to get near Him because of the crowd. Someone told Him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see You.” He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”

I’m drawn to the words that Jesus said about people who ‘hear God’s word and put it into practice’.

We all know that hearing the Word is not enough – we must put it into practice. But the truth is, many people feel like they continually fall short; that they miss the mark and ‘get it wrong’.

But I saw something today: The more you ‘practice’ something, the better you will get at it. Maybe we should all ‘practice’ obeying God’s Word until it becomes easier.

Today, let’s practice obedience to God and His Word.
