Good morning people who pray for people who need to know Jesus

Christians need to move away from speculation and gossip.

I believe we need to be ‘praying for sinners’ more than we are ‘talking about sinners’.

It’s time to spend less time hypothesising “why do they do this?” and “why are they like that?” and more time standing in the gap by praying for them.

For the sake of integrity, permit me to clarify something. I do talk about what is happening in the world today. I am greatly concerned by the evil that is manifesting itself through the actions of people. My heart breaks for those who suffer as the result of pervading evil. This is all true.

But I am increasingly feeling God’s heart about it all. I am praying more and more. I am being challenged by God that our ‘normal and acceptable’ responses are not always acceptable to Him or helpful to the situation. I am realising there is a better way; a more transformational and powerful way.

That way is prayer and love.

Here’s a few things I encourage us to start praying for our world today:

Pray for revelation of truth; that “Ah ha!” moment that results in transformation. This can only be a work of the Holy Spirit. 

Pray for open visions of the glory of God, the throne room of God and the holiness of God.

Pray for an outbreak of the miraculous through the people of God.

Pray against the spirit of fear.

Pray that people will repent and turn to God.
