Good morning people with a hunger for more of God,
Acts 20:7,11 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight…Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left.
…Paul kept talking until midnight…after talking until daylight…
There will come a time when people once again have an insatiable appetite for God and His Word.
I believe we are battling up-hill presently due to the many demands we allow to be placed on us. I do believe there is a choice involved, even many times when we say there is no alternative.
I long for the day when people simply can’t get enough of seeking God, knowing God, talking about God and getting together with others just to talk about God.
I pray that a passion for God starts to spread among us so that nothing else satisfies like He does.
I pray that a 40 minutes sermon once a week will leave us longing for more, much more.
I pray that people all over the world will start to yearn deeply for God’s presence in their lives and His Word to be rich in them.
I pray for an awakening like never before; an awakening of gratefulness for what God has done, but equally accompanied by an insatiable appetite for more, much more of God and His Word.
And I pray this for you and for me today – for the glory of God.
