Good morning people with a holy calling,
Acts 20:22-24 And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.
Paul had such a strong sense of calling and conviction.
He had something worth living for and worth dying for. He moved from place to place when he was compelled by the Holy Spirit. He was uncertain of the specifics of each trip, but he did know one thing – it would include prison and hardships.
But he considered life pointless unless he fulfilled all that was on God’s agenda for him.
For Paul, it was all about testifying to the gospel of God’s grace. Paul’s focus of ministry was to tell people about Jesus – what He was like and what He had done.
I believe every Believer is called to do the same.
Do you have something worth living for?
Do you have something worth dying for?
I pray you do, and I pray it is all about God.
