Good morning people with a loving Saviour,
Christmas Day: the day given to celebrate the birth of the Saviour of the world.
Yet sadly, the King of kings is so often neglected, even by those who follow Him.
Today, I ask you to stop and remember all that Jesus did and why He did it.
As mentioned yesterday, Jesus came to save the world.
What did He come to save the world from?
Jesus came to save the world – us – from the just penalty of our sins, the sins that separate us from God’s holy and righteous presence. Jesus came to remove that which hindered intimacy. Jesus came to reconnect fallen man with a perfect God. Jesus came to re-establish an accurate image of Father God on earth.
Are you thankful for the unfathomable sacrifice of Jesus Christ today?
As you open presents, I encourage you to stop and remember the incredible gift of Jesus’ life and what He accomplished as a result of His sacrifice.
Jesus paid for our sins on the cross. Jesus purchased healing for our bodies on the cross. Jesus removed the distance sin placed between God and man. Jesus re-established God’s original intention of intimacy and transparency. Jesus came and revealed the Father’s heart so we could clearly know what He is like. Jesus came as Love to love.
No more do we need to fear. No more do we need to feel condemned. No more do we need to feel accused. No more do we need to live in doubt. No more…because of Perfect Love.
1 John 5:12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
I am so grateful. Thank You Jesus.
