#1266 – Our Language

Good morning people who talk right before they see results,

We may not yet see or feel the evidence of what God has done, but that’s where faith is required.

Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped (expect) for, the evidence of things not seen.

I felt God say to me: Faith is based on our language changing before our reality does.

Too often we fail to speak the truth into existence – an act of faith that pleases God – because we desire to be factual. People don’t want to say they are healed in Jesus Name because they still feel sick. I understand this and I have often spoken this way.

But let me ask us a question: Do we want to be factual or truthful?

See factual is the reality we see based on evidence in the tangible world; the natural world.

Truth is the reality we do not yet see that is based on evidence on what God says in His Word.

Now let me ask us another question: What are we meant to be identified by as followers of Jesus and what brings Him honour?

Faith!

It’s time for our conversation to change in the area of what God has already given us but we are yet to receive.

If you want more joy, start to thank God for the joy that you have in His presence. If you want more peace, start to thank God for the peace that you have as you fix your eyes on Him.

Let your speech release God’s intention.
