Good morning people who reflect God’s heart
Permit me to talk about this verse again. Oh for greater revelation Lord to us all today.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
God did not come into the world to condemn the world. Oh how we need to think about this today. Some of us need a deep revelation of this truth that translates into a different way of thinking and acting.
God did not come into a perfect Christian world of lovely saints who were all as holy as He was. You know that and so do I. The truth is God came into a very fallen and sinful world; a world separated from Himself with the greatest of distance. The distance between the world God came to save and the Saviour Himself was insurmountable. It’s into this type of world that God came…
…and He came to save it, not to condemn it.
God’s heart has not changed!
I’ve got to say this again very clearly: God did not come into the world to condemn it…
…so why do His people so often condemn the lost that Jesus died to save?
I grieve when I hear of Christians condemning and judging those who are far off – people who are far off are exactly the type of people a loving God came to save, not condemn!
It’s time for us to be known for what God is known for; Love, not condemnation.
