Good morning people who trust in a loving God

I’ve just got to talk a little more this morning about God’s incredible heart for humanity. Let’s look again at this wonderful passage.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

The heart motivation of God is always love because God is love.

I John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

There is not a person alive who God does not love. I know that surprises some of us because we know some pretty “unlovable” people. But God doesn’t. Don’t get me wrong, God doesn’t approve of everything everyone does, but He loves everyone.

God loves every person so much He initiated a relationship with us. He didn’t wait until it was convenient or until we were nice enough. No, He initiated when we were in our worst state.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 4:9-10 This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

God is love, and as love He always initiates relationship.
