Good morning people who make right choices

As I conclude these few days on the thought of God’s promises, a decision of His will – and our requirements, a decision of our will – I want to go back to the trigger verse and finish on it.

Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.

I am promising to rejoice and be glad in this day – not necessarily in everything that happens in it – but in the day itself. This should be my focus and declaration each new day.

But how do I accomplish this?

By focusing on the truth that God made this day, that God is always with me, that God is always working for my good, that nothing can ever separate me from God’s love, that God is greater than my enemies, that God gives wisdom when I ask, that God gives strength when I need, that God, that God, that God, that God, that God…

…the empowerment for my day comes from God!!!

In fact, the empowerment for my life, and yours, comes from God.

And this empowerment is always available. I know at times we don’t feel this is true, but feelings are often deceptive and the enemy of truth. But I’ll say it again: God’s empowerment is always available!

If God can empower Paul & Silas in prison – Joseph in the pit, in Potiphar’s house and in prison – Daniel in the lion’s den – Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego in the fiery furnace – Jonah in the belly of a whale…you can keep the list going…

…HE CAN EMPOWER YOU TODAY!!!!

What will you choose to believe and be empowered by today? Will it be your inability or God’s ability? Will it be your requirements or God’s promises?

It’s your choice.

I will because God has!!!
