Good morning people with a faithful God

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

In this verse where God says we will always be able to overcome every temptation we face, we see two promises from God to help us – God is the strength to make this happen!

God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear – God will NOT let this happen; it’s impossible; it CAN’T happen – because God has said it!!!!

God will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it – God WILL do this; there’s NO WAY this will NOT happen; it’s impossible – because God has said it!!!!!

These are promises from God that are absolute truth!

And the words just before these two promises are ’And God is faithful’.

The starting point for fulfilling the requirements of God is to focus on and be anchored to the promises of God. Therein lies the power that we need.

Whenever you see a requirement from God, always look for the promise of God that empowers you to fulfil the requirement.

Read that again!

2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Our inability is an opportunity for us to see God’s ability!

Our weakness is an opportunity for us to see God’s power!

This is what grace is; the empowering of God to do all that He asks us to do!!!
