Good morning people who steward well what God has said in the past.
I hear the Father say, “If you’re unclear about what I am saying now, go back and review what I have said in the past.”
I feel this is a word from God for some of you who are reading BIY. I sense there is a deep desire for, and even a need of, hearing God on something right now. You have been asking Him, but you are not getting any clarity.
So, what do we do about this?
Firstly, we stay in faith. We stay believing God, and believing that He is the Word, and therefore, the Word speaks. God is not confused, nor is He unsure of what you need to hear. We need to be convinced of this. Keep praying.
Secondly, and very importantly today, Father is calling us to go back and review what He has said in the past. I’m drawn towards the word review. I see the prefix re and the word view.
I hear the Father say, “Go back and take another look at what I have said before.”
Hearing the words of God is important, in fact, it’s imperative. But we also need to see what Father means when He says something. I believe in the Spirit that there is some unfinished business regarding words that have been spoken by God in the past. There is more that He desires to do, and there is more that He desires for us to do.
God speaks a word in order for it to come to a place of completion.
God is not in the unfinished business! God is the Author and the Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and the good work that He started in us, He will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6).
I encourage you to sit with the Lord and to ask Him to remind you of what He has said. I encourage you to look back through your journals of things that He has spoken to you. Read through slowly and allow Him to highlight again what He wants you to see. May Father’s words be fulfilled as we partner with them in Jesus’ name.
