#5702 – Cry Out For Wisdom

Good morning people who walk humbly with the source of wisdom and life.

Proverbs 1:17 MEV Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.

If a bird – or any other animal – can clearly see a net that has been spread out to trap them, they would likely avoid it. The whole strategy behind entrapment of any kind is deception.

The enemy is working overtime in the days that we live in to deceive as many as possible and to trip them up in their steps. And like a skillful hunter, he uses subtlety and deception.

It’s time for believers to become wiser by walking more closely with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

It’s time for believers to become wiser by walking in humble accountability to other godly men and godly women.

It’s time for us to cry out for God, by His Spirit, to lead us into all truth.

I hear the Holy Spirit speaking to me clearly for some of you reading this today.

I see some of you have sought godly counsel on something you feel to do. The first person you asked cautioned you not to do it, and so you asked another, and they too have said that they don’t think it is God. You continue to ask, seeking for someone to affirm your desired decision.

If this is you, I encourage you to not foolishly kick against the wisdom of God that is being spoken to you through those who love you and are for you. Don’t let logic override godly counsel. Don’t be deceived my friend – it will cost you dearly.

May these be days when we all desire to know truth, and to pursue this as a higher value than being right and getting our own way.
