#5651 – Christmas Day

Good morning people who do not reduce Christmas Day down to one day a year.

The birth of Jesus changed everything.

Separation from God became connection with God.

Orphans found a way – the Way – to enter into sonship with the Father in heaven.

Sin was dealt a death blow once and for all.

Shame and guilt were replaced by mercy and grace.

Jesus Christ truly was and is the Saviour of the world!

It just so happens that the verses we are up to in our walk through the Book of Ephesians couldn’t be more perfect for Christmas Day. Here it is:

Ephesians 3:16-19 NIV I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The fullness of our life is connected to the richness of our revelation of the love of God that was so magnificently displayed in Jesus Christ. Seeing Jesus accurately equals abundant life! This is what Christmas Day opened the door to – newness of life!

May we all enter into a deeper revelation of the truth of who Jesus is and all that His life, death, resurrection and ascension accomplished in the eternal realm of the Spirit.

Our lives matter because Jesus’ life matters!

We can be born again because Jesus Christ was born!
