#5643 – God’s Grace

Good morning people who generously hand out the grace of God that you have received.

Ephesians 3:1-3 NIV For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.

I’m captivated by Paul’s description of his holy call to the Gentiles. He wrote that his responsibility was to administer God’s grace that he had received. Wow!

What we have received from God is not only to bless our lives, but to intentionally bless others through our lives. There is something very right about giving away what we have received. This does not result in less or in lack in our lives, but as per every kingdom truth, it results in more!

The word ‘administration’ in this verse means ‘household-distributor’. I see Paul handing out to each person what is needed for them to grow in their relationship with God. And the chief thing he distributes is God’s grace that is found in Jesus Christ.

God’s grace cannot be overstated. Yes, it can be misunderstood, but it cannot be overstated. And what every person needs is a deeper revelation of the boundless grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As Paul rightly says, God’s grace can only be understood through divine revelation. There is no human comparison or measurement to understand God’s grace. Oh, the depth of the grace of God!

And it is God’s grace that Paul wrote about, preached about and handed out.

How extravagant are you at handing out the grace of God?
