Good morning people who walk with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
I think it is good to remind ourselves that the Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God, and that while all are God, God is one.
As I type this, I am reminded that there is nothing natural, limited or bound by logic about God. Natural understanding will always be insufficient to understand the self-exisitng eternal God!
Let’s further lean into this today with this beautiful verse of truth:
Through Jesus Christ, every person – Jew and Gentile, male and female, slave or free – have access to the Father, and this happens by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus came to reconcile – to return people to favour with – God the Father. Yes, access to God the Father is not possible through any other person or god, but only through Jesus Christ.
But we must continually remember that it is ‘through Jesus, to the Father’ that is Jesus’ desire. When we stop at Jesus, He Himself would encourage us to keep on going until we connect deeply and enter into the Father.
Some may say, “How do we go through Jesus to the Father?”
This scripture tells us that this can only happen by the Holy Spirit. The truth is, we can’t be born again without the Holy Spirit, and nor can we come boldly to the Father’s throne of grace without it being by the Holy Spirit.
It’s good to remember the Holy Spirit is the person of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we need to approach Him as a ‘He’, not an ‘it.’ The same is true with Jesus and with the Father.
My simple prayer today on this deep issue is this: May we all increase in our intimacy with and revelation knowledge of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
