#5506 – Spiritual Investment

Good morning people who wisely use Father’s gift of provision that He has given to you.

Luke 12:34 NIV “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

How much of your finances do you sow into fruitful, kingdom, eternal work?

Many people get nervous or even angry when Christians – especially pastors – talk about money. And yet Jesus talked about money lots! And He didn’t always do it in a nice seeker-sensitive way.

People give money to what is important to them. Whether that be entertainment, sports, hobbies, cars, clothes, food, and the list goes on.

Therefore, it’s not that people are against spending their money on things, but that they are against being told where to spend their money. And therein is the problem: it’s not their money; it’s not your money!

If you have given your life to Jesus, you no longer live and your life is not your own. Nor is your money or your time!

It’s time to call it as it is: it is an ownership issue and a stewardship issue.

If your heart is for God and for the advancing of His kingdom, you will sow financially into this as the Lord leads (it helps to ask Him).

Love gives generously, and sowing into God’s work is the best investment of God’s gift of provision that He has given to us as His children.
