Good morning people who do not give up before you see the promised breakthrough.
Luke 11:8-10 NKJV “I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
Persistence in the right direction is one of the major themes of the New Testament.
There have been many times I have stepped back in prayer because I have not seen the answer that I know the Bible has promised. That may shock you, but it is the truth, and I am sure it is the same for most, if not for every person.
This is no need for condemnation, but it is reason for realignment.
It’s time to pray and to keep on praying; to keep on asking, seeking and knocking.
Like the men and women of faith mentioned in Hebrews 11, it’s time to live in faith, and if need be, to die in faith still believing.
Outcomes please us, but it is our persistence in prayer that truly pleases God.
